Diverse Investment
& Ownership Options
Our model is perfect for the executive owner-operators seeking a career change or semi-absentee investors diversifying their business portfolio while keeping their corporate job. We also offer multi-unit and area developer opportunities in key US markets.
- Fun, clean & simple
A healthy alternative to typical smoothies
Crafted with simple, fresh, wholesome ingredients, our shakes are incredibly delicious and stand out from the typical smoothies made with sugary syrups, sweet fruits, and low protein additives.
- Minimum buildout
An efficient & simple operating platform
Our buildouts only require refrigeration, counters and shelving making it a lower cost investment compared to most food and beverage concepts. The platform is flexible and allows for multiple configurations which include in-line store fronts, drive-thru configurations and mobile units.
- Large customer base

The Fresh Monkee has become the center of many communities we operate in. People visit us daily, and sometimes twice a day. Our shakes are loved by everyone from children to fitness enthusiasts, college students, and busy professionals seeking a healthier option than pizza, burgers, and subs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the franchise startup costs, and what do they include?
Currently, the range of investment is from $155,200 to $317,200, which includes the $50,000 initial franchise fee. This range includes construction, equipment, 3 months of working capital, and the franchise fee.
What do I need to qualify financially?
You will need at least $75,000 in liquid assets and very good to excellent credit to qualify for a single-unit franchise.
Do you offer financing?
We do not offer internal financing. However, we have strong relationships with 3rd party lenders familiar with our franchise model.
Are there multi-unit franchise opportunities available?
Yes! We currently offer single and multi-unit franchise opportunities nationally in key US markets.
What type of training is available?
As a franchisee, you will become a part of The Fresh Monkee family that genuinely cares, supports, and encourages each other. You will receive best-in-class training at our corporate facility in Connecticut and your location to help you launch and build your business successfully.
Will I receive assistance with marketing and advertising?
Yes! We have contracted with a highly reputable national franchise marketing firm to assist with the Grand Opening and provide ongoing local marketing.
How much space do I need, and will you help me find a location?
Between 1,000 and 1,500 square feet with solid demographics, co-tenants, and visibility. We have specific site criteria and a national real estate network to assist in evaluating sites that will be a good fit for your ideal location.
How long does it take to open?
You should be able to open in as few as 3 to 6 months, although it will depend on how quickly a location is secured.
Do I have to be an owner-operator, or can I operate in a semi-passive capacity?
You have the flexibility to be either! But, as primarily a semi-passive model, we are seeking franchisees with basic business skills who can manage and motivate a team, have sufficient financial resources, and follow the blueprint of a proven business model. Many will hire a general manager to oversee day-to-day operations. Owners can then focus on business development rather than be in the kitchen every day! Get Started today to discover more.
